In ultrasonic flow meters, the flow rate values are determined from the difference between the travel times of ultrasonic waves propagating in the measured liquid in and against the flow direction. Ultrasonic meters are noted for high precision, excellent long-term stability of measurement over a wide range of measured values, low hydraulic losses and simple maintenance. Using the adjustable mounting brackets, the ideal insertion depth of the sensing element (which is 1/7th of the actual pipe diameter) can be precisely set for any pipe size from 1.5 inches up to 24 inches. The 1/7th diameter insertion law, achievable with the flow-captor smart meter, ensures high measurement accuracy under turbulent or laminar flow conditions.

FLOMIC FL 3005 are ultrasonic flow meters for convenient measurements of instantaneous flow rate and flow volume values
on big diameters pipelines; the measured data are easy to read,
and the meter itself is very reliable and requires only simple maintenance procedures.
Fl 3005 is installed directly to existing pipeline.
RS-232C, baud-rate: from 75 to 57600. Protocol made by the manufacturer and compatible
with that of the FUJI ultrasonic flow meter. User protocols can be made on enquiry.
