This optical switch lets you connect up to 3 different optical digital components to a component with only one optical digital input. This is a round selector switch which allows you to connect up to three units with a digital optical jack and route any one of the three to a source unit with a digital optical jack. There are four optical digital jacks. One jack is connected to the unit to which you want to add more optical jacks to (normally a digital receiver). The other three jacks are connected to the units which you want to connect to the other unit. Switch easily between sources instead of disconnecting and reconnecting cables when needing to change inputs. You manually select which of the three units you want to select (only one can be selected at a time) with a dial on the top of the unit. A red marker shows which of the three units is selected. The compact design will fit in tight areas between components.
